Default Re: Expert advice on selecting a handgun

VERY informative!
Makes me think tho.

I'm good with my M&P9. WHich hold 17rds.
But i've been mainly carrying Model 651 snubbie in .357mag., because its lighter, smaller, and fits in my pocket well.

I've always thought I'd cover the lack of high capasity with bigger ammo.

But its so painful to shoot full .357mag out of, I practice with 38sp, and only pop 4 or 5 rds of magnum at end of day.

So since M&P is small enough to CCW(just not as easy as snubby), and have 17rds of 9mm instead of 5rds .357mag, and I can be very perficient with it, M&P would likely be better choice from both tactical/pshycological reasons...
