I think the issue holding up the site here is that under the header/navigation there are two javascript includes that can potentially generate headers for the site. These will be used to automatically include PAFOA alerts and breaking news into every page on the website. It seems that these "block" the rest of the page from loading until they have finished. I will optimize this as soon as possible to get rid of that "stuck" behavior that seems to happen. My hope was that once this was on the live server and being cached properly that the delay would be unnoticeable. Looks like I still have some work to do!

Yeah, it was that way for a while, the new news system makes it much easier for us to get news into the database and much easier for me to approve it. Over the next week or so I'm going to go through all the past news and import it into the database and be more mindful of getting new stuff in.
