Good point, though maybe too subtle for some to get.
Furthermore, I doubt that there really were any such e-mails, otherwise, why go through the chest-puffing to explain how the IP's can be traced and the people can be caught? That, to me, stinks of someone trying to give a foundation to a baseless claim. The article obviously had an agenda, one they didn't care to conceal one bit, this is just more of the same.
